.McLain's Automotive was started by Jerry and Janet McLain in 1971 as a shop which performed general auto repair. After about 10 years in the location at 5608 Heege Rd. Jerry decided to move away from the restrictive zoning laws of StLouis county and into the country, moving to the present location at 1057 Hwy DD in Cuba Mo.
Mclains Automotive is a small business with only one other full time employee Dave McLain who started working there in 1989.
